About BrightPath English Center
BrightPath English Center is a Khmer & American owned English center in Phnom Penh, created to give Cambodian students access to high-quality, affordable English education taught only by real native speakers. We are a small but growing center with a strong focus on communication, confidence, and community.

Position Overview
We are looking for a friendly, reliable native English teacher to join our team. This role includes teaching kids, teens, and adults in small classes, leading conversation clubs, and occasionally teaching online lessons. It’s a great fit for someone who wants a simple and fulfilling lifestyle in Cambodia. We also provide free housing, stable work, and a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach General English classes (Beginner–Advanced) for teens and adults using a communicative, speaking-focused approach.
• Teach Kids classes (approx. ages 5–12) with games, activities, and simple communicative tasks.
• Lead Conversation Club sessions to help students practice real-life speaking in a relaxed environment.
• Occasionally teach online lessons (same curriculum and style).
• Prepare basic lesson plans.
• Take attendance, give feedback to students, and support placement testing when needed.
• Maintain a positive, professional classroom atmosphere and represent BrightPath’s mission and values.

Work Schedule

• Full-time position with approximately 25–30 teaching hours per week, Monday–Friday.
• Classes are mainly in the afternoon and evening; morning and online lessons are scheduled only when needed.
• Remaining time is used for lesson preparation, simple admin tasks, and possible placement tests.
• Paid overtime is available if you agree to teach additional classes beyond your contracted hours.

Requirements

• Native English speaker from one of the following countries:
  🇺🇸 United States, 🇬🇧 United Kingdom, 🇨🇦 Canada, 🇦🇺 Australia, 🇳🇿 New Zealand, 🇮🇪 Ireland, 🇿🇦 South Africa
• Clear, natural pronunciation and the ability to model standard English.
• Previous teaching experience (formal or informal) is preferred, especially with kids.
• TEFL/TESOL/CELTA or similar certification is an advantage but not strictly required.
• Comfortable teaching both children and adults, and leading group conversations.
• Responsible, punctual, and able to commit to at least 6–12 months in Phnom Penh.

Position Overview
We are looking for a creative, reliable Marketing & Social Media Coordinator to help grow BrightPath’s online presence and attract new students. This role is ideal for a Cambodian marketer who understands local trends, uses social media every day, and wants flexible work with room to grow with an American company.

Key Responsibilities
Manage and update BrightPath’s social media accounts (Facebook, TikTok, Instagram).
Create content: short videos, photos, captions, and posts highlighting our classes, teachers, and student success.
Help plan and run TikTok/Facebook campaigns to increase followers and generate messages from potential students.
Design or coordinate simple digital flyers and graphics for promotions and events. (training can be provided if needed).
Monitor comments and inbox messages, and pass serious inquiries to the school for enrollment follow-up.
Suggest new ideas for promotions, campaigns, and local partnerships (schools, cafés, communities, etc.)

Work Schedule

• Full-time, flexible hours (around 40 hours per week).
• Most tasks can be done from home; some time at the school is needed for filming, photos, and events.
• Daily activity is expected on Facebook, TikTok, and Telegram (posting, replying, checking results).
• Weekly check-ins with the school owner/manager to plan content and review performance.

Requirements
Cambodian national 🇰🇭
Strong experience using Facebook, TikTok, and Telegram.
Good written Khmer and at least basic English (intermediate English is a plus).
Interest in marketing, social media, or content creation.
Reliable, organized, and able to work independently with clear deadlines.
Experience in digital marketing, design, or video editing is an advantage but not required (we can provide guidance).
